![]() Also, like raze, the attack animation is fairly slow – so I personally am not using it. Rupture – Rupture was another ability that (like raze) seems really fun if you like big numbers. I don’t view the loss of attack for the gain of howl to be enough of a gain (it is a gain, I’m sure) to be worth a skill point. Howl – the big problem I have with debuffs in general is that individual enemies just don’t live that long (I am not at level cap, so maybe this changes), so while you could place this on a big pile of enemies, or on a boss type enemy, you could also just spend more time ripping into said enemy. Wolfstrike – Sounds cool, but the range on it is abysmally low. The reason I don’t use it – it’s slow to use, and I tend to prefer fast weapons. Using a 2-hander with Raze, you can create some seriously big numbers. Raze – This is the attack for you if you want to see big numbers. The real bonus here, though, is that it can proc mana steal – meaning that with enough, you can eviscerate indefinitely. This is especially good with claws, as they don’t normally get splash damage. There is (last I checked) currently a bug which causes the tier bonus (which says it grants damage reduction as well) to actually cause you to take more damage.Įviscerate – Attacks all enemies in front of you. I’ll note the things I didn’t like about the other abilities for discussion purposes.īattle Rage – At least a 1-point wonder here. But here are a few bits of this tree that might make it worthwhile to look at. There wasn’t a lot in this tree I enjoyed playing with. For instance, with a single 10 mana steal socketable item, I find I have more than enough mana to keep buffs and summons up while having some left over to mess around with other abilities. Claws can have a very high attack speed, and there are a number of fun things you can do on the side while your auto-attacks are doing their work. I’ve come up with a few different ideas for types of Berserkers, but the one I play predominantly is one whose damage and survivability come mainly through normal attacks. And there’s no better class to do a write up about than the class I play most: the Berserker. But, as my previous blog on Torchlight 2 showed a high amount of interest, I thought I’d write another one speaking more to the specifics of gameplay and write somewhat of a guide on character building. You feel like a whirlwind barb of diablo 3.#1 I have by no means played the Berserker more than many other people have. Havn't died in pvp againist people my level. ![]() Learn to time your savage rush and ravage well so you can do max dmg. Tips - I suggest getting some mana regen because you will never run out of mana really with it. If you are not using savage rush or ravage you will still do a lot of damage due to always executing. I have not yet played with a single person that can keep up with me in a map. You "CANNOT" die if you learned to use savage rush peoperly and effectively. Red wolf should also be maxed as it increases over dmg by a lot. I got rage retention up to rank 6 just for 1 second thorns. It is also used with a combo of savage rush and exe which will drop the armor of anything you are fighting to barely anything. Ravage is mainly spammed on stronger mobs if you think the dot dmg will not kill them by the time you run out of the screen. The build works best on maps with 200% dmg 50% attack speed 50% cast speed because the 50% attack speed and 50% cast speed do not affect you in anyway. It works like whirlwind and you will run through everything and hit mobs once every like. How this build works is you try to get as much dot damage which is dmg over time gems in your weps and just use savage rush. I suggest getting no focus as its not needed. The build mainly consists on dex, you can add str and vit acording to your playstyle. These 2 moves will be used mostly and should be maxed asap. ![]() The build consists mainly on ravage and savage rush. This is the fastest build i've seen on this game in clearing maps, and I managed to kill mobs on a level 105 map at lvl 61. I'm creating this post to explain to people how to create a Zerker that acts pretty much identical to that of the whirlwind barb of diablo 3. ![]()
